The awesome French SX TOUR series headed to Agen in the south west of France for round two of the series and SR75 Suzuki Pro pilot Charles Lefrancois was keen to make a big impression in his first outing of the Tour.
With his SR75 RMZ450 set and ready Charles was on track and looking incredible showing a smooth and effortless style to push for the very important pole position in qualification. After topping his group in first free training Charles was confident in his speed to push for the top positions for the nights how. Showing just what he and his race machine are capable of, Charles took a fantastic 3rd overall time out of the unfavoured group to make a statement of intent and show just what we are capable of.
The night show as always went off with a bang and unfortunately Charles took some hits in his semi final where our hopes were very high for victory or a top two placing to give the best opportunity for the main event. Charles battled back hard as he always does and finished the Semi Final in a transfer spot with 6th going to the main event.
The final saw a fantastic start from one of the outside gates and it was great to have Charles showing early pace in fourth with a shot at the podium. Charles pushed on the tricky surface to advance in the main but lost rhythm and some positions in the incredibly strong field to cross the line in 8th position on the night. This puts Charles in joint 10th in the SX TOUR and we can look forward to our next races as Charles continues his work towards the top spot.
“I felt great on my bike in training and especially in qualification. To make top 3 was great and I know my race bike is amazing. I was a little tense in the racing in the night show and I know I have much much more to come in my results. I am disappointed for my team and myself and I cannot wait to get back on track and race to show what I am truly capable of. I thank all my team and personal sponsors and we will keep working for our maximum every time. Merci.

“It was a great day and a tough night for Charles. His pace was fantastic during the day and this is where we want Charles every time we race. He is capable of running at the front and we are used to this at SR75. We are having a great time and the SX Tour never disappoints with the atmosphere and fantastic race fans. Charles wants to push very hard and with every race we learn together as a team. A massive thanks to Charles and his crew and of course all our global team partners for the never ending support.
